Careers

Work on systems people actually depend on

Ticketing that keeps a depot trading through an outage. A ledger eleven entities close on. Identity someone uses to open their first bank account. The stakes are real, which is most of the appeal.

Applications go to a human. Every applicant gets a decision, including the ones we turn down.

Nothing matching? Send us something anyway — we hire ahead of a posting more often than not.

    What we offer

    The things that actually matter

    • Both offices own products

Lusaka is not a delivery centre for Prague. Teams in both cities lead product lines end to end, with the budget and authority that implies.

    • Four-day release cadence

We ship continuously and protect Fridays for the work that has no ticket — refactoring, learning, writing things down.

    • Real training budget

Conference, course and certification budget per person per year, plus access to every internal academy cohort.

    • Remote within CET ±3

Most engineering roles are remote-friendly inside that band. We keep overlap hours because async-only has not worked for us.

    • Relocation support

Between Prague and Lusaka in either direction, including visa handling and three months of accommodation.

    • Equity for everyone

Every permanent employee receives equity. The schedule is the same document for a graduate engineer and for the CTO.

    Hiring process

    Four steps, about three weeks

No take-home exercise longer than three hours, and we pay for it if it goes beyond that. No whiteboard algorithm rounds.

    • Livingstone, Zambia — Central Africa Time (CAT)
    1. Application review

A human reads it within five working days. You get a yes or a no either way, with a reason.

    2. Intro conversation

45 minutes with the hiring manager about your experience and what you want next. Not a screening quiz.

    3. Technical session

A pairing session on a realistic problem, or a walkthrough of work you have already done. Your choice.

    4. Team conversation

Meet the people you would work with. This runs both ways — ask them anything.
