What Limeta does

Limeta replaces the order form, the spreadsheet and the payment chasing. It keeps the shape of the order form parents already know — a protein and a side for each school day — and takes the admin out of it. Each caterer runs Limeta under their own name and logo, and only paid meals ever reach the kitchen.

You publish the week's menu

Add dishes with photos, prices and allergens once. Each week, pick what is on each day and publish. Pricing is a flat price per day, with surcharges on premium options.

Parents order and pay

They choose every child's meals, skip days they don't need, and pay once for the whole family by card or Mobile Money. Monthly packages let families prepay at a better price while still choosing week by week.

Your kitchen cooks from the ledger

Each morning the day's paid meals arrive as a ledger: counts per dish, per school and per class, with allergies flagged. No chasing, no IOUs — money is in before you cook.

Questions

Common questions

Do parents see the Limeta name?
Barely. Your business name and logo appear on every page, receipt and email. Limeta is a quiet "powered by" line at the foot of the page.
How do parents pay?
By Visa card or Mobile Money, in Kwacha. A family pays once for every child's week, and 16% VAT is included in your prices and shown on receipts.
What does the kitchen receive?
A ledger each morning at 10:00 CAT with the day's paid meals: counts per dish, per school and per class, with allergies flagged.
Who is running on Limeta today?
Flavour Haus, a Lusaka caterer, is the first business on the platform.
