What Mainza.io does

Mainza gives an intercity bus operator the entire digital stack under their own brand: passengers book on an app that carries the operator's name, agents sell from a POS that works when the network does not, captains manage the manifest from the cab, head office watches every vehicle from a command center, and the whole thing is fronted by a marketing site that actually converts. Built on Go microservices, React Native and Supabase multi-tenancy.

Five products, one tenant

Every operator gets a passenger booking app, an agent POS, a captain app, a command center dashboard and a branded marketing website. They share one schedule, one inventory of seats and one ledger, so a seat sold at a roadside kiosk disappears from the app immediately.

White-label to the core

The operator's brand, colours, domain and app store listings — not Mainza's. Passengers never see a third-party name, which matters enormously in markets where trust is built on a depot sign and thirty years of reputation.

Built for real African infrastructure

Mobile money is a first-class payment method, not an afterthought. The agent POS keeps selling through network outages and reconciles when the connection returns. The passenger app is engineered for low-end Android on intermittent 3G.

Questions

Common questions

Do passengers know they are using Mainza?
No. Every touchpoint carries the operator's brand, domain and app store listing. Mainza is infrastructure, deliberately invisible to the travelling public.
What happens when the network goes down at a depot?
The agent POS holds a local allocation of seats and keeps selling against it. Tickets print, QR codes validate, and everything reconciles against the central inventory when connectivity returns.
Which countries are live today?
Zambia is the primary market, with operators onboarding in Zimbabwe, Malawi and Tanzania. Cross-border ticketing is available on the Dominate tier.
